How I See It

Taking care of patients, friends, and family with skin cancer, sun damage, scars, inflammation, and infection over the last 15 years in the San Jose area has been an honor and a privilege. Even before that, as a resident, intern and medical student, I feel incredibly fortunate to have been a part of healing and life.

The 3 and a half years have been particularly challenging for the entire world, and maybe also the few years before the pandemic. What happens next may be up to each one of us.

Find joy and perservere! Sometimes it's the small moments of happiness that make all the difference.

There is this immediate reality that good and better health makes us stronger. Just about anything we encounter on a daily basis may take a toll on our skin, yet its tireless regenerative capacity is a force to behold. Let's keep the odds in our favor.
